You two have not lost any of your cuteness despite months of travel and lots of illnesses. I hope you are both feeling on top of the world again now.
I just got this photo in the mail from you a day or two ago, so I decided to check your blog and there’s the photo! Thank you so so so much for sending it. It was great to open the envelope and see you two silly birds smiling at me. It made my day – truly!
By the way, I love the painting from Myanmar. I’m having it framed and put up in my living room. You two treat me far too well! I was reading about your cooking as well. I’ll cook for you non-stop next time I see you!!
Serbia is Ok, but the school is … well nevermind. It’s winter here and I love the snow, but my house has no heat. I read and watch tv under a heavy blanket and leave the oven on with the door open all evening to help stay warm. Waking up in the morning is terrible; the upstairs is freezing and stepping onto the cold tile floor in the bathroom makes you sing soprano hhaha!! My landlady says she may not be able to have it fixed until the summer. Then she gave me some cake. Not surprising really. I applied for the internet at home in mid-August and I’m still waiting (near first of Feb). Nevermind, I still love the Serbs. They are slow getting things done but they have a wonderful sense of humour and heart-warming hospitality.
Can’t wait till the next time I see you. I love you both.
