When you meet a young man, actually more a kid than a man, who tells you that he will become someone to help his country to develop and it will touch you deeply. We are so self centered in our western world that we hardly think about our responsibility for the society.


Bony and his friend were learning English at the park in Luang Prabang. His dream is to become a lawyer to help Laos to develop a liberal justice system. He wishes one day to know what happened in his country and to help to erase the empty spots of history in the past. ‘Once I want to know what was going on and what happened to the king and why. I want to be free to ask these questions.’
