We have been thinking of visiting Documenta 12 since we came back from the Biennale in Venice. Finally we made it happen on this weekend. Together with Else and Renade, 4 of us droved out of Berlin at 7pm on Saturday night, in hope to dedicate as much time as possible on Sunday for the exhibition in Kassel.
It was a right decision and we had a great weekend. Though the artworks shown in Documenta 12 wasn’t as bad as I thought, it certainly wasn’t that inspiring as compare to the Biennale in Venice. However, I think Docementa 12 guards well with its curatorial direction, ‘The big exhibition has no form… an exhibition without form, means entering a field of highly contraditory forces.’
Audience are lining up waiting to enter the exhibition hall…

This red room is created just be simply put a red transparency on its full glass panel.

This huge sculpture collasped during the exhibion… was hit by a thurder storm..
After all, Docementa is known for its constant confrontation to the aesthetic and social issue of its time…
