Anuradhapura
This Dagoda is said to be erected in 140 BC. It’s majestic white dome spans against the blue sky with it’s 55m height. Many damages had been done to this place. Especially the invasions by the Indians let there marks.

I visited this on 2 visits to Anuradhapura, on the way from London to Perth in 67, and on the way back in 73!
